Dr. Paras Sachdeva

General Dentist

Paras Sachdeva is a dedicated and accomplished dentist with a passion for providing top-notch dental care. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from India in 2009, graduating with a gold medal. With nearly a decade of experience in private practice, Paras has honed his skills and pursued advanced courses in composites and orthodontics, while also attending various conferences on smile design.

In 2019, Paras relocated to Canada and successfully completed his equivalency NDEB exams on the first attempt, adhering to the Canadian dental standards. His commitment to excellence and continuous learning has made him a valuable asset to the dental community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Paras is a family man, blessed with two daughters. He enjoys walking in nature, staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, and spending quality time with his wife and daughters through fun activities.

Inspired by his father, who was also a dentist, Paras found his calling in dentistry early in life. His father's dedication and passion for the profession deeply influenced Paras and shaped his own career goals. Today, Paras continues to carry forward this legacy, aiming to provide exceptional dental care and positively impact his patients' lives.
Dr. Sharon Skolrood

General Dentist

Dr. Sharon Skolrood (Dip DH University of Alberta 1980, DDS Dalhousie 1986) has lived from coast to coast: born in Vancouver, grew up in Alberta, went to dental school on the east coast and worked in Ontario and Alberta as well as BC.

She also had the good fortune to live in Singapore for 3 years where she participated in volunteer medical /dental missions to Cambodia and northern Thailand.

In addition to working part-time, she enjoys tennis, pilates, spending time with her family and travelling.
Dr. Gavin Bains

General Dentist

Born and raised in Surrey, BC, Dr. Gavin Bains has always been eager to help others to live healthy lives. After being awarded the National President’s Scholarship, he made the move across Canada to the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree with Honors Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences. During his time in London, Ontario, Dr. Bains volunteered as events executive for Operation Smile and UNICEF, and also competed on the Western Mustang’s Bhangra team. After four snowy winters, Dr. Bains was happy to return home to beautiful British Columbia to pursue his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Bains is grateful to serve his community and is always striving to provide efficient, comfortable, and quality dental care to his patients. He especially values creating a friendly yet attentive environment for his patients, and provides care in both English and Punjabi.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bains enjoys keeping up with his fitness goals, trying new restaurants around Vancouver, crossing destinations off his travel bucket list, and will always be happy to boast about his latest fantasy football win. Dr. Bains looks forward to helping you and your families with your dental needs.
